[TIP] Training your Stats
Why even bother training your stats?

VITALITY - increases your maximum HP
POWER - increases the chance of executing a stunt without any loss to your HP
MUSICALITY - possibility of doubling stamina while dancing reggae and hip-hop (same as power - reggae and hiphop moves only)*
AGILITY - possibility of doubling stamina while dancing popping and locking (same as power - popping and locking moves only)*

These stats will greatly help you when you're in dance mode because you can do stunts (especially the high leveled ones) more.

* Not sure about these. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Training Vita and Power

The Stop Dance

Have you ever wondered why some people stop dancing even when the song hasn't ended yet?

The reason why we end the dance after a successful series of stunts is so we can do another series of them. The aim is to do as many stunts as possible in a song. If you don't stop the dance, you have to dance all the way through to regain your HP (assuming that you've already used your satay). If you stop the dance, you can refill your HP bar by using walk in the clouds, start the dance again and use flower power next. In just 4 hits (assuming that all of those are perfect), you can start doing stunts again.

When to train

Anytime. But if you're really on the run, do it also on the double attributes event so you can save up time training.

Where to train

Unless you're a monster player, just stay at the 81-105 halls. Dancing at these halls will decrease your chances of missing during stunts.

Finishing your stunts successfully is important because there's an extra bonus on the vitality EXP.

Power = number of stunts
Vitality = successful stunt

How to train

Preferred setting during dance mode: Easy - 4keys - Song
Setback: You won't earn much score during training.

To summarize, training is like this:

1. Use walk in the clouds/blood of the t-rex (refills your HP when you're NOT dancing).
2. Start dance.
3. Use flower power/joy bomb/midnight powder (refills your excitation).
4. Start doing stunts when you reach the Lvl 5 keys.
5. When your HP is almost gone, use satay/dino egg (refills your HP when you're dancing).
6. Stop dance when you're done with your series of stunts.
7. Repeat steps 1-6.

Stunts to use

It's best to use stunts which subtract only 30HP on your life like the following:

1. Super 6 steps variation 2
2. Wave Gliding
3. Knee Spin
4. Twelve Steps (35 HP stunt - this actually depends on the total HP left after the 30HP series)

Cool down time

You don't need to wait for your HP to reach 0 to use the satay. It's actually best to use it before, so you can start the cool-down time of the item asap.

Ex:
Total HP = 255
Satay HP = 140
Use satay at this HP = 105  (after 5 stunts at 30 HP)

How do I train my stats with only minimal  (or none at all) base level EXP gain?

Use only 4 keys and don't perfect your hits. Instead, aim for the good and bad ratings. That way, your base level EXP will be lower hence you can raise more power for each level. One way also is to do group dance while training. You won't gain EXP but your stats will increase.


Training Musicality and Agility

Where to dance

Dance halls are assigned as Musicality and/or Agility halls. Check out NhieNhie's where to dance guide to know which halls you want to go to when training these 2 stats.

Go to these halls and try to get high scores without using stunts.

Preferred setting during dance mode: Common - 8keys - Song



That's it! Be patient and be ready to devote lots of time for training. After some time, you'll notice the effects of the stats and you'll feel glad that you trained.

This is only based from my experience and is definitely not foolproof. Comments and suggestions are welcomed =)

For musicality and agility:
1. Don't stop because your main aim is to get a high score.
2. Use Common Level.

For power and vitality:
1. Do the stop dance.
2. Use Easy Level (Keys are limited up to Lvl 10 only) - Under Common Level, stunts can reach up to the Lvl 13 set. Depending on the speed of the song, this might be a bit harder for some players.

Rawr! I mistook the Common and Easy Level for steps. Sorry for the confusion =D

The reason why I'll use Common Level when training Music and Agi is that I can reach Lvls 7, 8 , 9 and 10 if I keep doing perfect hits. However if you use the Easy Level, you'll be limited to Lvl 6 sets even if your hits are always perfect.

The Common and Easy Modes (Steps) I was referring on my previous post were actually the Common and Easy Levels.
During Easy Level, you only need to perfect the Lvl 4 set to reach the Lvl 5 one. If you weren't able to do that, 2 Cools would suffice. That also goes for the Common Level. When compared to dancing all the way through, it's actually easier to regain your HP and excitation gauge by doing the stop dance.

Maximum Level for Keys

[No Stunts]
Easy - up to Level 6
Common - up to Level 10

[With Stunts]
Easy - up to Level 10
Common - up to Level 13

So during Music and Agi training, to get more scores, you should use the Common level.
But with Vita and Power training, if your aim is to get as little score as possible, you use the Easy level.

Maybe you are referring to the Common Level here instead of the steps. =)
That's why it's advisable to train your music and agi after you have finished raising your vita and power. You'll be accomplishing a lot of things during this time, raising your music, agi and level and at the same time you're earning a lot of scores.

as expected...thank you for the information...

i mistook the  easy 4k Stop dance for common 8k stop dance...since i cant confirm if the 8k and 4k can affect your stats in training stats...can you clarify this issue...i guess thats what makes other PLAYERS pissed about...

You're welcome =)

As for the 4k or 8k issue for power training, sorry but I don't have a definitive answer yet since we don't have an actual scoreboard on how much points each stunt would give. My only basis would be the hours spent for each level. And this one is very weird because there are times when training is easier even if your power is higher.

For example, I remembered when my power is 64, it took me about 4 straight hours to reach 65 (all 4k). But during my 90 -> 91 power (4k and 8k), it took about 3 straight hours.

Currently, I'm testing out the 4k or 8k issue so I'm using 8 keys during vita and power training and it seems that I can raise my stats faster. At 90+ power, it takes about 3 hours (straight training, no double attri event, no chats or whatsoever tehee) to raise 1 lvl of power. I'll try 4-key for the next level.

But most people I know prefer 4k for the training. Not only is it easier but they seem to raise their stats faster too.

Just Want to add Tips here....

If you want to increase your MUSIC stat try to dance in the slow dance halls like high school.
But if you want to increase your AGI go to the faster Dance halls like Subway and titanic. ^^

I think 8k is more preferable during power training. It took around 3 hours for me to train my power from 92-93.
